MSN Virtual Earth To Take On Google Earth

MSN Virtual Earth To Take On Google Earth

Good luck MSN... Hrmph. Google Earth has quickly become one of my most used web apps. It's fast rendering (especially in FF) and driving direction overlays on actual satellite photos are AMAZING. Just the other day Jill (my wife) and I wanted some good Chinese food, so I pecked in Google Earth and did a local search for Chinese Restaurant. To our delight, we found a place really close by that had EXCELLENT food. Thanks to Google, we found Union Chinese Restaurant. Google earth has a great interface. It's super intuitive and well refined. I do have to admit that from time to time I have to hit Yahoo Yellowpages to find an obscure number, but nine times out of ten Google earth meets my needs.

Good luck MSN, you'll need it.
